Buffalo, NY on the other hand, is the leader on the lower end offering just $1.10 per square foot of storage space.

Location is another key factor that influences how much it will cost you to utilize a storage facility. If the storage facility you’ve chosen is located in a more affluent area, chances are the price of a unit there is going to be higher than it would be in an area that is less affluent.
